GraphicConverter 7 or later:

1. How do you disable autosave and versions on 10.7 or later

GraphicConverter 6.x:
1. The Universal Binary version does not show your TWAIN scanner
Some scanner drivers are PowerPC compatible only. If you have an Intel Mac running OS X (Versions 10.4x -10.6x) then they may run under Apple's Rosetta emulation mode. For these versions please see the instructions below (Apple removed this ability from 10.7 Lion).
GraphicConverter can use such drivers only if the application is launched under Rosetta.

• Select GraphicConverter in the Finder.
• Select File:File Info. 
• Check: Open using Rosetta

You can now use your old scanner driver.


2. The program ends immediately after it has started.

This can be caused by a corrupt document which is set to open with the program.
Mac OS X:
Please go to the folder in /User/Library/Preferences and delete all the documents com.lemkesoft.graphicconverter.plist, com.lemkesoft.graphicconverter.powerpc.plist and com.lemkesoft.graphicconverter.intel.plist.
Classic OS:
Please go to the folder System folder/Preferences and delete the document GraphicConverter Prefs

4. How do I install plug-ins ?

Copy the plug-ins into the folder Library/Application Support/GraphicConverter/Plugins. Re-start the GraphicConverter to activate plug-ins.
